We’re celebrating Christmas in Dothan, AL… after seeing a couple of our friends & family “elf” themselves, Tessa & Sophia insisted that we try it!  The video’s expiring, but here’s the link–click here– if you want to try.  Otherwise, here’s a picture of the result:

We want to wish each of you a wonderful Christmas time.  It’s a wondrous thing to celebrate Christ’s birth.  Cherish the memories and time you share with loved ones this month!

We are only a few months away from leaving for France, but it seems like just yesterday we left Hilversum in The Netherlands.  To celebrate what God has done that past two years, see HICC’s website by clicking here, and see an article in EU Digest about the 2nd church plant in Almere by clicking here (or see the Almere church– NDIC– via their website here).
This year has reminded us that just as God accomplished his great purpose by becoming flesh, He continues to work through humanity to reach the world.  The incredible partnership of churches and missionaries shows God has a unique part of His plan for each of us! (more…)

We have transitioned to a new email newsletter system.  The format is a little different, but will make the emails more accessible to different email clients, and allow people to sign-up via the web easier.

If you did not receive our Christmas email on Dec. 18 (click here to see it), we may have missed you when we migrated our email list to the new system.  We have a new link to the right, “Email Newsletter Sign-up” where you can register yourself back on our list!

Support update & our timeline

We have reached 76% of our monthly support needed & want to thank everyone for their help and encouragement.  Your prayers have meant so much to us during this year at home.

We are anxious to leave for France though!  While we had hoped to be finished early and begin language school in January, we will have to wait until the rest of the support is raised.  We ask for your continued prayer as we seek additional monthly support and less than $15,000 that is needed in our cash budget.  We are also back in a scheduling mode, where we would love to make arrangements to visit your church in the coming months! Just email todd@tysontidings.com.

Here is our “Recap newsletter” for the year (a Christmas newsletter will be emailed out soon):
